How Can Adrian Help With My Chronic Fatigue?
You’ve probably already been told it’s your thyroid. Here’s what almost everyone is missing, including most naturopaths.
Maybe you’ve had the blood tests, seen the GP, been handed a thyroxine prescription, or been sent to a naturopath who loaded you up with ashwagandha and rhodiola and left you feeling worse. You’ve tried. Nothing has worked. And somewhere along the way, you started wondering if you were the problem.
You’re not. The problem is that almost everyone is looking in the wrong place.
The Thyroid Is Not the Enemy
When chronic fatigue shows up, the thyroid gets the blame. And yes, in most cases, the thyroid is struggling. But here’s what conventional medicine and most natural practitioners miss entirely:
The thyroid never thinks for itself. It only does what it’s told.
If your thyroid is weak, something else made it that way. The thyroid is downstream. It’s the result, not the cause. Treating it in isolation, whether with synthetic hormones or stimulating herbs, is like turning up the volume on a broken speaker. You’re not fixing the signal. You’re just pushing a damaged system harder.
Adrian’s approach starts with a different question: why is the thyroid struggling in the first place? And the answer almost always lives somewhere else entirely.
The Two Contributing Factors Nobody Is Talking About
In thirty years of clinical practice, two factors come up again and again beneath cases of persistent fatigue. Neither is the whole answer on its own, and neither shows up in every case, but both are worth investigating before anyone concludes there is nothing to find.
The first is a nervous system that cannot switch off.
The amygdala, the brain’s alarm system, gets stuck in a state of hypervigilance. The sympathetic nervous system stays activated. Fight or flight never fully disengages. And at night, when the body is supposed to shift into deep, restorative rest, it doesn’t. It keeps scanning for threat.
The result? No real sleep. Cortisol dysregulation. A thyroid that slowly weakens under the sustained chemical pressure of a body that believes it is always in danger. And an exhaustion so complete that even rest doesn’t restore you.
The second is a past infection that never fully resolved.
A significant viral illness can leave a long tail. The acute phase passes, but the immune system stays busy, and the ongoing load can weigh on the systems that regulate energy, sleep and hormonal signalling. Where that load persists, it is reasonable to look at it as a contributing factor rather than to treat the resulting fatigue in isolation.
The part that makes this hard to catch is that people often don’t connect it. The illness was years ago. It may have been mild, or in childhood, and it doesn’t feel related to how they feel now. But on a timeline, the change in health frequently sits close to it, or close to the period of stress or accumulated load that followed.
This is a pattern worth investigating, not a diagnosis. Where a past or ongoing infection needs to be confirmed or excluded, that is a matter for medical testing and your doctor.
What Adrian Actually Does Differently
When someone comes to Adrian with chronic fatigue, they usually arrive in one of two states.
Some are so depleted they can barely get the words out. They sit across from him hollowed out, speaking slowly, struggling to remember details of their own story.
Others arrive in a different kind of exhaustion, wired and frayed, carrying years of frustration, sometimes anger, sometimes grief. They say things like “I feel like I’m going crazy” or “I just can’t do it anymore.”
Adrian listens for those sentences. They tell him more than any blood panel.
So his first consultation is mostly listening. He wants the person in front of him to feel genuinely heard, perhaps for the first time in this journey, before he says a single word about what he thinks is happening. Once they’ve spoken, he gently reverse-engineers what they’ve told him. He explains, in plain language, exactly what is going on in their body and why. He lays out the approach he’ll take, what the body needs, and the realistic timeframe for healing.
He can do this because he’s done it for himself.
Adrian’s Own Story
Adrian’s chronic fatigue didn’t arrive quietly. It dismantled his life.
It ended his teaching career. It nearly ended his marriage before he and his wife had children. There were points where, without her support and the guidance of the naturopath who finally understood what was happening in his body, he’s not sure he would have come back from it.
He was carrying the aftermath of a viral illness. His nervous system was wrecked. His energy was gone. And like most people who end up in that hole, he had been told by practitioners that his tests were normal, that there was nothing obviously wrong.
What finally worked was targeted supplementation in the right sequence, at the right doses, for the right duration, guided by a practitioner who knew how to read the body’s signals rather than just its bloodwork. She knew what the symptoms were actually saying. Who could find the first domino and move it.
That experience is the reason Adrian does this work. And it’s the reason he knows it works.
Luke’s Story
Luke came to Adrian at twenty-five years old, a former student who remembered him from years earlier.
He walked in hunched over, face hidden behind hair and a beanie, barely able to form a full sentence. He’d been officially diagnosed with chronic fatigue, but beyond that label, no one had given him anything useful. The GPs had run out of ideas. He was young. He was supposed to just bounce back. They couldn’t understand why he wasn’t.
Luke didn’t drink. Didn’t smoke. Didn’t use drugs. He looked after himself. He went to bed early. He was doing everything right, and he was getting worse.
Working through Luke’s history, Adrian mapped a timeline that included two separate viral illnesses in adolescence. On paper they were long past and unremarkable. Set against the timeline of his symptoms, they looked less incidental, a cumulative load on an immune system that had never had a clear run at recovering, alongside longstanding digestive problems that had been treated separately for years. His gut was under-acidic. He couldn’t eat without feeling sick. He was craving sugar because it was the only thing giving him any energy at all. His sympathetic nervous system had no off switch, so he wasn’t sleeping, not really. He was napping in the dark, waking after forty minutes, never touching the restorative sleep his body needed to heal.
He was depressed. Anxious. Barely leaving the house.
Within two weeks of starting his protocol, he was sleeping through the night for the first time in years. His headaches came under control. He returned to work, part time, within a month. Slowly, he started showing up for his own life again. Seeing his girlfriend. Going out with his mates. Doing the ordinary things that chronic fatigue had stolen from him.
Six months later, his vitality is above ninety-five percent. He is, for all intents and purposes, healed.
This is the work Adrian does.
The Tool That Makes This Possible: Kinesiology
Kinesiology is the reason Adrian could find what was wrong with Luke when no one else could.
Every muscle in the body is wired into the nervous system. When he applies gentle pressure to a muscle, he’s not testing strength, he’s testing neurological coherence. A muscle that holds tells him the nervous system is congruent with what’s being introduced. A muscle that releases tells him the nervous system has detected stress, conflict, or imbalance.
The body becomes a biofeedback instrument.
And crucially: it bypasses the conscious mind. The conscious mind rationalises, protects, forgets, avoids. The nervous system cannot fake. It cannot perform. When Adrian asks the body a question through kinesiology, is this supplement helping or harming? Is this emotion still stored here? Is this the priority? Is this the root?, the answer is honest.
It is also why the order matters. Most people with persistent fatigue have twenty symptoms and a much smaller number of things actually driving them. The work is finding the first domino. He’s not treating everything. He’s treating the right thing, in the right order, at the right dose, for that body, not a protocol.
Adrian didn’t come to kinesiology as a believer. He came as someone who had tried everything else. And it was the first thing that didn’t ask him to believe. It simply showed him what his body had been trying to say all along.
To the Skeptic
You don’t have to trust Adrian. You just have to let your body speak.
You’ve been dismissed before. You’ve been told your symptoms are stress, or normal, or in your head. You’ve spent money, time, hope, and got nothing back. He’s not going to ask you to believe in a modality or a philosophy.
What he will do is give your body a chance to respond in real time.
The results either show up or they don’t. The first domino shows up or it doesn’t. The body either shifts or it doesn’t. This process doesn’t rely on his opinion or your willpower or anyone’s guesswork. It relies on your nervous system, and that’s the one part of you that cannot lie.
What the Journey Looks Like
For someone in a debilitating state, Adrian likes to meet weekly for the first four weeks. That frequency is deliberate. It allows you to begin restoring energy, clearing trapped emotional patterns that are actively blocking healing, and building your understanding of what’s actually happening in your body. You need to understand the seriousness of what you’re dealing with, and know that there is a way through it.
As you begin to heal, sessions move to once every three weeks for six months.
The healing journey has ebbs and flows, physically and emotionally. Some weeks feel like progress. Others feel like a setback. Staying in close contact means you never have to navigate those moments alone. You’re part of a team. You won’t be left behind.
What Adrian needs from you is one thing: a genuine intention to heal.
Not blind faith. Not certainty that it will work. Just a real decision that you want to get better, and a willingness to take the steps when he shows them to you.
He can detect that intention quickly. And when it’s there, the work moves fast.
What derails people is not the severity of their illness. It’s the attachment to it. Some people have been sick for so long that their illness has become their identity, the lens through which they understand themselves and the world. Adrian says this without judgement, because he understands how it happens. But he makes it clear, early: he only works with people who are ready to leave that story behind.
He doesn’t heal anyone. They heal themselves. He is simply the guide.
If You’re Reading This at 11pm
If you’re exhausted right now. If you’ve tried everything. If you feel alone in it, and like no one, not the doctors, not the specialists, not the naturopaths, has really understood what’s happening to you.
Adrian wants to say something to you directly.
Sometimes the hole feels so deep, and the walls so steep, that you can’t see any way out.
He won’t reach in and try to pull you out from up here.
He’ll jump down into the hole with you.
And he doesn’t want you to fear that you’re both now stuck. He’s been in that hole before. He knows every inch of it.
And he knows the way out.
Come with him.
If this resonates, the next step is simple.
Adrian works one-on-one with a small number of people at any one time. If you’d like to explore working together, you can book a consultation below.
